Ol’ Olestra!  I’m sooo freakin pissed!

So here I am sittng in subway totally happy that I actually came across some fat free chips with only 75 calories! Man was I happy! I thought I hit the Jack pot! Untill…..until my “eat clean” mentality came to surface and I decided to look at the ingredients in this so call fat free lays chips. I just knew it was too good to be true and really don’t trust processed food anyway. And not to my suprise, I was right! Smack damit in the front of the bag of lays chips spelled a word I never herd of before. Olestra.  Aka Olean (r). So apparently this fat subsitute is too good to be true. Olestra has been reported to cause Lose stools, abdominal cramping, and even, check this, Anal Lekage! Eeewwwww!!!!!!!

Are you freakin serious! You are actually gonna put an imgredient in the one thing is americans love the most (junk food) that causes anal lekage?!!  Well shame on you food and drug administration for approving that crap! This kind of stuff iw really starting to make me sick that they cam just feed is anything like pigs! That’s why I’m taking control of my body.

Morial of the story is this, don’t eat processed foods! They can kill you! Point blank. All this for a buck? Wow at there concern for man kind!

Cardio makes me fat!

Well not technically, just vigerious cardio makes me fat. According to the book “Eat right for your Type” us A+(blood type) folks need to stick to the yoga and brisk walking to burn the fat. If we engaged in vigerious exercise it can cause stress on my body which would then release the stress building hormone cortisol. So I tested this theory, actually way before I actually knew I was testing this theory.

Last year, around this time I decided to hire a personal trainer in order to help with my weightloss endevors. So I was supposed to only have employeed my trainer for three months. By then I should have lost atleast 20 pounds and just overall be in the best shape of my life. Well needless to say, instead of that happening, I lost about 5 pounds, 2 inches off my waist, and over $1,000 dollars. You see my darlings, my personal trainer was in the military and in everything he did HARD! And that included training me.

So the point is he put alot of stress on my body and it didn’t change. But ol and behold when I started to count calories and barly did any exercise at all besides daily house chores, playing with my daugther, watching tv, etc…that’d when I lost the weight! Go figure.

Eat all you want and still lose weight?

The term should be rephrased. It should be “Eat clean food all you want and still lose weight.”. I mean really, think about it. If we eat less man made processed food’s and more of the stuff that actually grows out of the ground, don’t you think you would lose weight too? If we eat the things that God intended for us to eat, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, etc., the stuff that our bodies can actually process through our overworked livers, than we would be lean, mean, fat and flab, fighting machines! So here is a challenge for you all and myself included, try to eat only ONE (1) processed/man made meal and or item a day, and see how much you will lose without basically going on a diet and just well, Eating Clean!

Learning my body

So I have made a shocking discovery! When I got back to my pre-Prego weight at 154 and then gained back 10 pounds I have discovered that all the 10 pounds went directly back to my stomach and my arms! What a load of crap! I guess that puts me in the apple shaped body then, because I damn sure ain’t pear! If I was all the weight would go to my hips and butt rather than my dang on baby belly! Oh how I’d rather have it the other way around! I also have discovered that when I lose weight, I lose it in my legs and butt first! Go figure. Well since I only need to lose 10 pounds to get back to my pre-Prego weight (AGAIN!) at least now I know It will leave my stomach and my arms first since I surpassed the legs and butt dilemma. I also noticed that when I lose weight even more my butt and stomach gets even smaller. Leaving the mummy tummy less visible. So what does all this mean? Guess I have to sacrifice my butt in order to lose my Gut!

Learning to control what I eat and stop when I’m full…

So instead of overeating like I usually do, I decided to actually STOP eating when I felt as though I was full. For example, today for lunch I had 2 servings of Progresso Soup Pot Roast ( in a can) and I noticed by the time I was getting around to the second serving, I was Full, So I stopped, and did not eat the rest….. Because of this I saved 80 calories and Now I have more of them to eat later! Yeah ME!!!!

WONTON SOUP 900 CALORIES???

This just in, So You all know I am dieting to lose my 17 pounds right? So I am using a calorie monitor on my Iphone App entitled “Lose it” from loseit.com ( awesome by the way) So I say to my self, hummm, what can I eat for lunch that doesn’t have a lot of calories in it. So I decided I’ll just go and get me some Wonton Soup. WRONG IDEA!!!!!

So I use my Lose It app and guess freaking what!!?? Wonton Soup has 900 CALORIES!!!!!!

I can’t believe it! All this time I have been getting Wonton Soup because I FIGURED it was low calories because it was a soup but I was WRONG! Denied! Never again will I be eating Wonton Soup just crazy!

17 Pound Weightloss Goal

So my mission is to lose 17 pounds….. I am 162 and I want to get down to 145 which I think is pretty skinny but I also think it’s the only way to get my “mummy tummy” at least to the point were I don’t have to wear a girdle. I will post before pictures soon so you can see the blasphemy!

Oh yeah, I did get down to 154 ( pre pregnancy weight) but gained 8 pounds back but just eating a lot. I was going through something and got my appetite back so the weight came back also because I wasn’t exercising. So now lets get it off and get it to stay off!

What the Greek?

Seriously, I want to lose all of my baby weight, but at what cost? Tasteless nasty food, being up set and groggy, and on top of that scraping my eyeballs out? No way! So I was watching the biggest loser and I saw Bob talking to one of the contestants regarding Greek Yogurt. He was basically talking about how it has at least 12 grams of protein, its good for you, yada yada yada, so I said, hummm…. Protein? Well I am trying to build muscle and tone, so why not give it a try. So when I went to work the other day, during lunch me and a co-worker decided to walk to the super fresh for lunch, and wha la! Behold the Greek yogurt. I purchased it, put it in the company fridge, and thought nothing of it. That is until today! I decided to give it a try and it is just ridiculously nasty! I hate it! Its pasty, and it sticks to my teeth, so after about two teaspoons of this crap I decided to blog about it and tell you how nasty I thought it was. Huh…I feel better now that I told the few people who may read this how I thought Yoplait Greek Yogurt, ( blueberry flavored) is just completely nasty and utterly tasteless. I think I will just stick to my Mouse Whips Yogurt, sorry Bob.
